Moving to Paris with family
School deadlines, a rental file built on foreign income, the bank and finding doctors all land at once. We keep them in order, so you can stay close to your kids during the move.
Book your free callSchools
We shortlist five schools with you, and handle applications, visits and enrollment paperwork. Sought-after private schools often recruit months ahead, so an early start helps. We do not promise a place.
Your home
A licensed real estate agent handles the search, viewings and lease. For some services, such as the home search, we receive a commission from the agent or partner, paid out of the fee you pay them. We charge you nothing on top for it, and we confirm it in writing before you sign. We prepare your rental file with you for French landlords, and Perla does a final practical check of the home.
Doctors and daily life
Introductions to a pediatrician, family doctor and dentist, as confirmed in your written proposal, plus bank, phone, utilities, social security and health insurance setup support.
Co-founded by two mothers

Questions from families
When should we start planning a family move to Paris?
Family Arrival runs from about 3 months before you arrive. We need your request at least 2 months before arrival. For a September school start, contact us well before that, because school applications often open months ahead.
Can you get our children into a school?
We search with you, prepare applications and organize visits and enrollment paperwork. The decision belongs to the school, so we do not promise a place.
Can we rent in Paris with American income?
Landlords decide case by case, so we cannot promise a lease. We prepare your rental file with you for French landlords, and a licensed real estate agent handles the search and the lease.
Will someone be there if we arrive in August?
In August, we support you remotely and respond to urgent matters. For a late-August arrival, we aim to finish the paperwork we handle before August, so please contact us early.
What does Family Arrival cost?
From €18,000 including VAT (€15,000 excluding VAT) for up to 2 children, and €1,200 including VAT (€1,000 excluding VAT) for each additional child. On top: the real estate agent's fee, typically about one month of rent, which depends on the home you choose; and other third-party costs such as movers, school fees and deposits. For some services, such as the home search, we receive a commission from the agent or partner, paid out of the fee you pay them. We charge you nothing on top for it, and we confirm it in writing before you sign.
Do you give tax or immigration advice?
No. A French-American tax advisor and an immigration lawyer advise you directly, and you pay them directly. We coordinate the logistics with them.
